Broncos Star Out with an Injury

Miller After Receiving Injury

Denver Broncos Training Camp

Broncos star Von Miller had an injury near his ankle when the team was practicing in Englewood, Colorado on September ninth, twenty-twenty. After Miller had the lower leg injury, he soon found out that he could not play this season of football.

Miller said that he “felt something funny” near his ankle at the end of the team’s workout helmet-and-shorts practice in the Pat Bowlen Field house. This lower leg injury will require surgery and time to heal. Once the coaches and trainers suspected some sort of injury near his ankle, he was immediately taken for an MRI.

There was serious damage to a tendon near his Achilles. Miller suffered a torn tendon near his ankle, but it was not a ruptured Achilles tendon. This will require season-ending surgery and lots of healing.

Miller will not be able to play, so his backups would either be Jeremiah Attaochu or Malik Reed, who are both well-trained outside being linebackers. Fans are very unhappy about Miller’s injury and are disappointed that he will not be able to play this season.  However, at least Miller can take a break from football and use his spare time to be with his family more often.
