Well first the Houston Astros  sign stealing scandal resulted from revelations that members of the Houston Astros organization in Major League Baseball (MLB), using technology, stole signs of opposing teams during the 2017 and 2018 seasons. For years, other MLB teams had suspected the Astros of stealing signs. Also they have been caught recently cheating. They were using trash bins and they hired someone to watch the play. They would see the play then tell someone in the locker room what the play was and that person would bang the trashcans a certain amount of time for each play.
