TimeLine of COVID-19

We all know of the deadly and fast spreading virus known as COVID-19. COVID-19 has affected almost everyone in the world in vastly different ways from schools being cancelled to losing jobs, COVID-19 is changing everything.

COVID-19 was discovered in 2019 but, not declared a global pandemic until March 11th, 2020. After covid became a pandemic, serious masks were issued to be worn whenever we are out in public and quarantine became enforced, so no one left their house unless essential for 3 weeks-1month. When COVID-19 peaked it was mid April and everyone was staying in, no gatherings, no family reunions, just inside. The only exception to this new found lifestyle was going out for essential needs. Most people said goodbye to their social life. But when things couldn’t get any worse, the rest of the school year was online. When schooling went online that was the biggest change because people who had been in person learning their whole life were now thrown in front of a computer all day, grades starting dropping and a big blanket of sadness went over the whole country.

Then summer came. The heat was unbearable and even worse , public pools were shut down. The pandemic itself had gotten a bit better and we were allowed to be around people in groups of less of 10-15 people. Quarantine had loosened its grip on everyone but now a new order came to place, masks. Now masks were required in all places in public, falling to abide by this law was a very pricey fine ranging from 500$ all the way up to 2,600. Yet covid has cancelled many things such as halloween, birthday parties, public pools, and much more. We are all doing are part to make sure it’s over with as soon as possible
