The life of Tom Seaver

Mets Legend Pitcher Tom Sever died August 31, 2020 at age 75 from Lewy body dementia and Covid.Tom Seaver, the greatest of all Mets who was diagnosed with dementia on March 20. According to other sources I found on the web his family said Tom peacefully at his home in Calistoga, Calif. Due to dementia and s small bit of Covid.

Tom ever left this earth and was one of the best pitchers ever with him winning 2 world series and winning over 300 games! But the biggest completion he had had in baseball is that he recently got announced into the baseball hall of fame. After 20 years in the MLB.

Sever joined the New York Mets in 1967. That year the Mets placed 10th out of 10 teams which was not a good start To Saver’s Career as a pitcher. The next year, they finished ninth. Which was still not good at the time to be 9th out of 10th. But the next year with low expansion the Mets made it to the MLB world series and ended up winning the world series 3-2 and they called it the Miracle Mets. That year he was declared as a great baseball player.

But then his career did not stop then he was announced into the baseball hall of fame in 1992. At the time to sever was out of the MLB because he retired in 1986. Even though Tom Sever died he will always be remembered as one of the best Mets player to ever play.
