Red Gerard is a 22-year-old Olympic snowboarder, 1 of 7 kids in his family born in Ohio, but now lives in Silverthorne, Colorado with a miniature snowboarding park in his backyard. He started snowboarding when he was 2 years old in 2002. He is a two-time Olympian in the 2018 Pyong Chang where he got gold in slope-style and 5th in big air. In Beijing 2022 he got 4th in slope-style and 5th in big air. In his off-season from the Olympics, he snowboards with the Burton global team. He has 3 years of experience in world championships. he also has gone to the USA Grand Prix for snowboarding and has gotten first in all three he has participated in.

Red Gerard first started getting recognized when he was 13 years old. Red Gerard is lucky enough to have sponsors from Burton, Redbull, Von Zipper, Woodward at Copper, High Cascade Snowboard Camp, Protec, Celtek, Cobra Dogs, Stance, and Hobo. All and all, Red Gerard is a dedicated snowboarder with national recognition. 

When he got gold in Pyong Chang it was his first year in the Olympics and he crushed it when he got gold in slope-style. after 4 years of dedication, Red Gerard’s work paid off as he became a snowboarding icon and he is still going strong participating in many competitions every year.
