Denver Broncos Free Agents; Will They Stay or Go

Denver Broncos Free Agents; Will They Stay or Go

Straton Geddes, Author

The Denver Broncos have 15 free agents from their team that they need to consider signing or letting go. They have around $11.4 million in salary cap space, so they must be strategic with who they re-sign and let go. So the question is, who will re-sign with Denver, and who will find another team? In this article, you’ll find out who the players that are probably staying are, and why they’re staying.

  1. OT Cam Fleming

This 6’-5” 320 lb offensive tackle has 8 years of experience and was signed with the Broncos as an unrestricted free agent on May 20, 2021. Before that, he played 4 seasons with the New England Patriots, 2 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, and 1 season with the New York Giants. He is a good backup, with 19 starts in the past 2 seasons. He will probably stay with the Broncos.

       2. TE Eric Tomlinson

This 6’-6” 263 lb tight end has 7 years of experience, starting as a free agent in 2015. The Broncos signed him on March 16, 2022, as an unrestricted free agent. Before that in 2018, he started 12-15 games with the New York Jets, and he played 17 games with the Ravens in the 2021 season. He also played a few games with the New England Patriots and the Oakland Raiders. He’s a good veteran to have on the roster, so he will most likely stay with the Broncos.

       3. TE/FB Andrew Beck

This 6’-3” 255 lb Tight End/Fullback has 3 years of experience. He also started as a free agent in 2019. The Broncos claimed him on September 1, 2019. Since then he has appeared in 31 games with the Broncos, 16 of them were in his rookie season. He missed 5 games in the 2020 season with a hamstring injury. He is good for the Broncos in situations where they need a fullback, so he will probably be staying.

       4. RB Latavius Murray

This 6’-3” 230 lb running back has 9 years of experience. He started his career with the Raiders in 2014, playing in 15 games. He stayed with them for another season, then became a Viking, playing with Minnesota for 2 seasons. After that, he played with the Ravens and the Saints before he became a Bronco. Since the Broncos starting running back, Javonte Williams is still injured, they will need a running back, and Murray might be the guy, so he will probably stay.

        5. LB Alex Singleton

This 6’-2” 240 lb Linebacker has 5 years of experience. He started as a free agent and was signed by the Seahawks in 2015. He appeared in 38 games over 4 seasons and had 275 tackles (173 solo tackles), 4.5 sacks, 5 interceptions, and 3 forced fumbles. The Broncos signed him as an unrestricted free agent in 2022, and he played a great season with them. The Broncos will sign him back, so he is a stay
