There are many new movies soon to be released this year in 2023. There are many sequels to old movies as well as new horror movies. Some are based on things like cartoons and video games—some of these movies people have anticipated for a while now. People have been waiting on additions for some series since 2015, that’s an entire 8 years! One of these new additions to older movie series is a new movie called The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. Where apparently, “Years, before he becomes the tyrannical president of Panem, 18-year-old Coriolanus Snow, sees a chance for a change in fortunes when he mentors Lucy Gray Baird, the female tribute from District 12.” This movie is coming out on November 17, 2023.

A few more additions to other series are, Creed 3, John Wick: Chapter 4, Fast and Furious 10, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and Shazam! Fury of the Gods, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, Ant-man and the Wasp: Quantimania, as well as others. In addition to all the fun heart-warming movies, there are many new horror movies as well such as Scream 5, Meg 2: The Trench, Knock at the Cabin, Infinity Pool, The Nun 2, and Winnie the Poo: Blood and Honey.

Although some have already been released there are many more to come throughout the year. For people who enjoy everything about Five Nights at Freddy’s, the FNAF movie has been filmed and will be released and released around October. If the movie is not released this year, it will most likely be released in early 2024. But the creators have said it might release in October 2023.
