When you hear the question, “What fast food place is the best?” you will probably think of what has the better food, but there are other things to factor in when answering this question, like healthiness or convenience. When you think of fast food you probably think of the biggest most popular places, like Burger King, Wendy’s, Arby’s, McDonald’s, and Chick-Fil-a. Although they are convenient, they aren’t always the best. 

Usually, the most popular fast food place is the place with the most locations, and this is slightly true with McDonald’s because it has the second most locations (37,200) worldwide and it is the most popular. What is surprising is that Subway has the most locations with almost 43,000 locations, but it is only third in the world (in terms of popularity). Meanwhile, Starbucks is the second most popular and has the third most locations. I think that the reason Subway is not the most popular even though it has the most locations is simply that it’s not as well known as Starbucks and McDonald’s. 

It gets confusing because there are some other places that are simply too low on the list even though they have the best food in a lot of people’s opinions. For example, In-n-Out is only the 34th most popular place, even though it is a lot of people’s favorite. This is because it does not have as many locations. Another one is Chick-Fil-A. Many people say that this is the best place because it has good food and a lot of locations, even though there is a lot of controversy surrounding the fact that it has donated to many anti-LGBTQ+ organizations. 

You might think of other places like Burger King, Wendy’s, or Arby’s, but it is just simply not good enough food. That’s why I think that Sonic Drive-In is the best due to the fact that they have many locations around the globe, and they are really fast at making your food. They also aren’t just a burger place or a chicken place, they have a variety of very good food, wherever and whenever you need.
