Many people love both, but in my opinion, comedies are way better than horror movies. To start off, one reason is that just some people don’t like being scared or creeped out at all. Also, say you want to watch a movie before bed and you don’t want to be scared, so you have to watch some other movie, it could be a comedy!

     I already gave 2 examples in the first part of why I like comedies over horror movies but there are numerous more reasons why, and I will give some more. The first reason is if you are watching something with your whole family, then comedies make more sense because say you have someone in your family who does not like horror movies at all and gets scared really easily, in that case, a comedy has way more logic. Also, comedies are enjoyable, funny, and just great movies in general! Horror movies are scary, in my opinion not as enjoyable, and sometimes hard to know what’s happening.

    Overall, comedies are way better than horror movies because of their qualities and some of the actions or events that happen in them. Also, they are more enjoyable to watch with family and friends.
