Brazil Out of the 2022 FIFA World Cup

After a long game against Croatia, Brazil has been knocked out of the running for the 2022 Fifa world cup. The match ended one to one after normal time but Brazil lost in penalties. Marquinhos missed the final winning penalty after just barely hitting the left post. When the ball bounced off the left post leaving fans extremely emotional, Some breaking into tears of disappointment especially since Brazil was one of the teams predicted to win. The final score was four to two in penalties and this loss has pushed Croatia to friendlies leaving Argentina and Croatia as the newly predicted team to win

 Brazil has a long history with soccer starting back in 1894. After taking home the cup 5 times, many thought Brazil had a good chance of winning a 6th or at least making it out of the quarter-finals. On June 29, 1958, Brazil took its first-ever world cup home defeating Sweden five to two. Brazil played its first international game in 1914. Brazil is also the only country to qualify for every FIFA World Cup and holds the title for the country with the most goals scored of all time.
