The Rose Parade

The Rose Parade

Murray Kline, Writer

The Rose Parade is an iconic and wonderful celebration that many people annually visit for a New Years tradition, taking place in San Marino, California. The Rose Parade travels 5 ½ miles down Colorado Blvd. and features four types of entries: flower-decorated floats entered by a participating corporation, non-profit organization, equestrian units, bands, and Tournament Entries.

The Rose Parade has been around since 1890’s and has been a historical day that now happens every January 2nd at the Rose bowl, a football game that happens after the parade. There are so many fun and cute floats that you should go see if you go to California. The parade is an amazing parade that I would recommend going to if you have time, or even watch it on tv, because this is a truly memorable moment to have.

If you are thinking about going somewhere for New Years, go to the Rose Parade.
