Little India is the Best Place for Indian Food

Ben Vincent, Author

Little India has 4 stars on Google with over 1,233 reviews, and that’s a lot of customers. They have authentic food and it tastes good too. With a variety of dishes including but not limited to Currys, Masalas, Kormas, Saags, Vindaloos, Bhuna, Biryanis, Paneers, Naans, Soups, Salads, Tandoori, Alus, and types of rice. With such a big selection of food, you know they know what they are doing. The best vegetarian options they have are their Paneers, a type of cheese, it is very tasty and has a mild, milky flavor and a dense crumbly texture that goes beautifully well with strong spicy flavors used in many classic Indian dishes. You can ask for any dish you want, spicy, medium, normal, or mild to fit your preference. They also have many appetizers including Samosas and Pakora among others. The best of which is probably the Punjabi Samosa which has potatoes and peas inside, with a flaky pastry outside.

Little India has four locations: 330 E. 6th Avenue Denver, CO 80203, 2390 S. Downing Denver, CO 80210, Highlands, CO 80211, and Central Park, CO 80238. But all have a similar interior with Indian art and objects like hand-crafted brass elephants and small statues that create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Another thing that makes the atmosphere is the lights, they are like lanterns and just look really cool and they have a lot of different ones with different shapes and colors.

All locations have a bar and sometimes the bartender does tricks. They also make homemade soda including these flavors Peachy-Pibb, Black Cherry Cola, Strawberry Indian Lemonade, and Levander Ginger Ale. An amazing drink there is the Mango Lassi, a delicious and refreshing drink, Mango Lassi is made with fresh yogurt or curd, milk, and sweet mango slices. The staff is always on time and very kind as well always helping you if you don’t know what to get.
